About us:

We’re at the forefront, launching the world’s first hyper-realistic virtual office, maximizing employee engagement and brand experience. Our mission is to help companies offer a complete work experience – bridging the gap between physical and digital. We have a unique core team with human, design, and tech-centered expertise — from brand experience, employee engagement, meetings, events, and gaming to 3D graphics, UE, cloud, networking, DevOps, frontend, and backend design. We are 30 employees spread across the world, with our headquarters in Stockholm.

With us, you will become part of a wonderful group of competent and supportive colleagues where knowledge sharing, and development are prioritized as much as having fun and pleasant at work. Therefore, your personal qualities are important to us, we want to maintain the light-hearted atmosphere we have today.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Technical Product Owner at Co. Society, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our product’s overarching vision and its technical realization. You will serve as the primary point of contact between Product Management, Development, Technical Art and R&D Teams, ensuring alignment with the product vision and priorities. You will also collaborate with the UI/UX, 3D Design, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories. The key responsibilities in this role include:

1. Communication & Collaboration:

  • Engage in regular communication with cross-functional teams, including R&D, and leads, acting as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Provide stakeholders, notably the CTO and Chief Product Officer (CPO), with updates on progress, challenges, and adjustments
  • Liaise with teams to clarify any ambiguities in requirements or user stories, ensuring clear understanding and expectations

2. Product Backlog Management:

  • Prioritize and refine the product backlog, considering both business value and technical feasibility
  • Ensure user stories are clearly defined, comprehensive, and aligned with the product’s strategic goals
  • Organize sprint planning, review sessions, and retrospectives to optimize team efficiency and product quality

3. Strategic Alignment & Focus:

  • Collaborate with the broader product management team to align technical teams’ efforts with the product strategy and vision
  • Identify potential dependencies between various teams and deliverables, coordinating efforts to ensure smooth execution
  • Balance technical constraints with product requirements, advocating for both the product’s vision and the needs of the technical teams

  • A degree in a technical field or an equivalent level of practical experience
  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development processes
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving and project leading abilities
  • Experience working with games or other 3D products is seen as a plus
  • Experience acting as a Scrum Master is seen as a plus

What’s in it for you:

  • Work remotely from anywhere in Europe (or +/- 3 hours from CET)
  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge tech for a future unicorn that will change the way people work
  • Flexibility to join as an employee or long-term contractor
  • Fun, friendly and talented remote team

Please take a moment to include your CV/LinkedIn profile and kindly dedicate a few minutes to respond to our pre-screening questions. Your cooperation in completing these questions is greatly appreciated.

This position is available as a fully remote or hybrid with base in Stockholm. We regret to inform you that we are unable to facilitate candidate relocation or process work permits at this time.

Thank you for considering a career with us. We look forward to reviewing your application.
