We are looking for an experienced agile developer technique and method coach to support our client’s teams in improving and optimising their ways of working and their developer skills. The purpose of the opportunity is to improve the effectiveness, productivity, and quality of their work.
You must be a Swedish, Nordic, EEA or EU citizen and ideally be based in Stockholm.
You must be able to work on-site at least 3 days per week.
You are expected to
- Analyse and evaluate our existing technical development processes and ways of working.
- Identify areas of improvement and recommend appropriate changes.
- Implement and support new development techniques and ways of working in the team.
- Train and coach team members in the new techniques and ways of working.
- Lead and facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss and improve workflows and development techniques.
Key experience and qualifications required
You must have all of the following experience and competencies, which must be evidenced in your CV:
- >10 years of experience in software development with a wide usage of agile developer techniques – refactoring, test driven development, pair programming, mob programming, etc.
- > 5 years of experience in working in high performing agile software development teams – shared code and process ownership, active feedback culture, focus on learning, etc.
- Experience of working as a consultant or in an advising role, with experience of a coaching leadership.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all kinds of team members.
- Deep understanding of agile software development methods, like Scrum and others.
- Knowledge on how to plan work ahead starting from the contents in a backlog where the items are of very different sizes, origins, and values.
