Strategic Account Executive for an international company

About the role:

The position is a leadership role focused on supporting the global sales efforts within the automotive brands you will be responsible for.

Your role will be to maintain and develop relationships with existing and new clients at local, regional and global level, assist with the development of a global account sales strategy, drive all strategic sales activities, identify and manage large sales opportunities and negotiate local, regional and global deals.

You will serve as the primary point of contact between MSX and its clients, understanding their needs, and offering solutions that align with our products/services. From time to time, you will represent MSX at automotive industry events.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Global Sales VP and Regional Sales Directors to develop, execute and maintain a global account strategy.
  • Create and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed global sales targets.
  • Identify and qualify leads in order to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM software.
  • Proactively manage a set of large sales opportunities through the MSX sales processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (such as Local Sales team, Delivery team, Marketing, Finance, HR and IT) to maximise sales conversion and project implementation.
  • Develop and manage relationship with purchase department, proactively manage the referencing of MSX as potential supplier, secure MSX to be listed on RFQ’s, manage negotiations including contract conditions.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Lead new and organic sales, and support or lead renewals when required.
  • Support all MSX management processes, i.e. budget and forecast.
  • About you:

    We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the automotive industry including OEMs and dealer network operations and needs. To succeed in the role it is also positive if you have experience in consultative and strategic B2B sales, preferably in automotive retail. Achieving sales targets motivates you and you have strong business acumen built on long-term customer relationships.

    Excellent communication skills with C Level management combined with perseverance and financial competencies are required to perform well in this role. You are a self-starter but also enjoy cooperation with numerous stakeholders.

    For this role, fluent written and spoken English is required; Swedish is not mandatory but recommended.

    Working pattern and location:

    The position reports to the MSX Global Sales VP and is located at the Nordic head office located in Gothenburg (Gamlestan). This is a full-time position. The customers are mainly in Gothenburg and the Nordic capitals and traveling to our customers occurs.
