Scania is part of the TRATON group, a VW holding, specialized on customer solutions for trucks, buses and engines.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Sourcing Manager at Scania Group located in Södertälje, with flexibility for remote work. You will join the procurement team for Electronics and Software.As Sourcing Manager, you will drive the business for defined category, develop supplier and material group strategies and will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as supplier relationship management, contract and price negotiations, conducting market research, and analyzing supplier performance. The Sourcing Manager will also collaborate with internal stakeholders and other brands and regions within the TRATON Group to ensure a stable TQDCS performance by our suppliers.QualificationsMin. 2 years’ relevant experience in Procurement.Collaboration – Ability to work independently and as part of a team with cross-functions and other brands & regions of the TRATON group.Cultural awareness – Sensitivity to cultural differences when dealing with international suppliers or stakeholders, promoting respect and understanding in global business interactions.Strategic thinking – capacity do develop and execute strategic plans with organizational objectives.Analytical skills – proficiency in analyzing data to identify cost-saving opportunities, track performance metrics.Negotiation and communication – Ability to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to maximize value and effective communication with internal stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and PowerBI.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.BenefitsOpportunities for growth as procurement professional in a dynamic industry.As part of TRATON, global opportunities provide avenues for international assignments and exposure to diverse cultures and markets.Flexible work arrangements support a healthy work-life balance.Supportive, diverse and inclusive work environment.
