Site Subcontract Manager

Role Context

The Site Subcontract Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing subcontractor relationships and activities at site. The role involves ensuring the efficient execution of subcontracted work, monitoring subcontractor performance, and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and safety standards. The Site Subcontract Manager will be responsible for overseeing the execution and administration of all site construction contracts throughout the construction life cycle. Subcontracts will be executed under the Allmanna bestammesler (AB) suite of contracts, in particular ABT 06. The Site Subcontract Manager will work closely with the Worley Site Construction Director and Worley Site Business Manager to ensure the successful completion of the project. The role will be based at site on a Monday to Friday basis.

You’ll be:

• Overseeing the administration of all site subcontract construction agreements , ensuring compliance by all parties with the terms and conditions of contract.

• Managing the team of Worley site contract administrators and co-ordinate their respective roles & responsibilities.

• Supporting the Worley site contract administration team and Worley site construction management team with interpretation and administration of the AB contract forms.

• Supporting the Worley home office subcontracts team with ITTs, in particular form and content of terms and conditions, and vendor deviations from terms and conditions.

• Monitoring subcontractor performance, including adherence to safety, quality, schedule and cost requirements.

• Foster clear and effective communication channels between subcontractors, the Worley project team and client.

• Overseeing the subcontract change management process and ensure all parties fulfill their requirements under contract.

• Overseeing the maintenance of accurate and comprehensive records, including contracts, correspondence and change documentation.

• Providing regular reports to the Worley site project management team and Worley home office project management team
