Role mission & context
As Senior Scrum Master, you will interact with various stakeholders such as Data Analyst, Architect, Business process Developer, capability leads and global teams to ensure that business reporting needs are fulfilled – based on ITSM and Foundation data.
You will be part of IT Performance Management Team. This organization is gathering professionals in performance analytics using platforms such as Power Bi or ServiceNow and expertise in architecture who are defining and supporting a healthy and sustainable development of our IT ecosystem.
Your main missions within this team will be to support the development and maintenance of PowerBI and ServiceNOW based reports, of Certified Data, propose improvements (process, activities, and Azure DevOps tool) and support the management of the Team’s chapter.
For this position we put as well high focus on interpersonal skills and attitude. You are passionate about people, customer value and have a strong digital emotional intelligence.

For this position, we are looking for a person with a strong ability in working in a group and innovation spirit. You have proven experience as Scrum Master, have already an experience in managing functionally a team and a good understanding and knowledge of the IT Delivery environment.
You have a strong experience in using tools such as Azure DevOps or LeanKit with good team coaching and mentoring experience in regards to tools and processes / methodo (Agile mainly).
You have experience in supporting Product Roadmap and manage the related backlog. You can build estimations and metrics to support activities and backlog analysis and related decisions.
You have a critical thinking, sense making and complex problem solving with entrepreneurship mindset.
BI, Data and Automation appetence is a nice to have as you will have to support projects connected to these subjects.

You actively collaborate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment.

Activities
Below an extensive, but not conclusive summary of areas in scope:
- Understand Stakeholders demands
- Support the assignment of the activities (through tools such as Azure DevOps)
- Support with Product Roadmap & Backlog
- Coaching the Team on how-to use selected tools, e.g. Azure DevOps, LeanKit
- Create estimations and metrics
- Support Agile methodology
- Senior Scrum Master
- Able to coach and mentor the team (Process, tools, activities)
- Support decision taken by creating measures and estimations
- Document the solutions / processes
- Participate to Volvo Scrum community and events
- Support Agile/Cross functional collaboration
- Extended Scrum Master experience in an IT environment
- Professional skills – certification is a must (PSM 2 / SAFe Scrum Master at least)
- DevOps knowledge
- Advanced Communication Skills including the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Basic Agile Coaching (Scrum Basic, Agile Basic)
- Good understanding the (business) processes and requirements
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Interest in BI, Data and Automation area
- Have already successfully supported an organization in a global context with analysis and managing good relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Volvo environment (ITSM related) is nice to have
- Strong leadership and committed to getting the job done
- Minimum 2 years of Data Analyst
- Relevant university degree
- Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
Preferably Belgium (Ghent) or Sweden (Gothenburg) – can be extended to India (Bangalore), France (Lyon) or Poland (Wroclaw)
