About the role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with an eye for detail, a strong hand in strategic design thinking, and a drive to tackle complex problems in a team. If you have a multi-skilled passion and mastery of hands-on product design and storytelling – you will thrive in this role. You will be part of the design team in the Experience domain. Under the leadership of our design manager you will be a driving force to ensure consistency and innovation in the domain. In this role, you will lead product design discovery and strategy by evaluating and identifying the intersection of business goals, customer needs, and technical opportunities and constraints. You will ensure that our product and its features are valuable for our customers, easy to use, and of the highest level of craft and execution. You will work in interdisciplinary teams where experts from content, publishing, product, and technology work on the future of spoken word. To succeed in this role, you will be the voice of the user. Help teams deliver value to their customers and the business while evolving the experience in the spoken audio space. You have strong leadership skills and are comfortable taking initiative and driving the design process from start to finish.

The role includes

• Have end-to-end responsibility for the user experience, from discovery to final solution delivery.
• Suggest and initiate user research to identify needs, areas for improvement or innovation.
• Define strong evidenced-based design rationales and communicate and advocate those decisions to a variety of stakeholders and teams.
• Craft delightful and accessible UI based on our Digital Identity, Design System, and support with interactive prototypes.
• Actively design and build products by working closely with other product designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Propose innovative, intuitive and feasible solutions that highly impact the user experience.
• Support developers and product managers through the implementation process by making them part of the design process.
• Participate in evaluating implemented solutions (A/B tests, usability testing, data collection) to gain insights. Continuously utilize these insights as a foundation to suggest future improvements.
• Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at any level of the organization, serving as a prominent champion of the design thinking process.

About you

• 5+ years of proven professional experience in product- or service design, developing state-of-the-art digital products and services. Preferably experience in the entertainment business.
• Fluent or on a professional level in English, both written and spoken.
• Great communicator towards stakeholders and team members.
• Experience having end-to-end responsibility for the user experience.
• Advanced skills in Figma and prototyping tools.
• You have the ability to adapt your methods and design processes to the needs of different collaborators and situations. You also have empathy in identifying users’ needs and translating them into holistic, systematic solutions.
• Experience in working in a scale-up and fast-paced environment.
