The sport of padel is the fastest growing sport in the world and therefore, we are looking for a driven Senior Accountant to further strengthen the accounting function for our Holding entities.
The role is based at our headquarter in Rotebro, north of Stockholm with the opportunity to work from home when needed. You’ll be reporting to our Group Accounting Manager and be part of a young finance team, who value the opportunity of working together on various finance projects as well as being accountable for own task, development and deliverables.
LeDap is the world’s largest padel group, with padel operation in +10 countries. Joining LeDap group is an opportunity to play a vital role developing a well-functioning accounting structure in a scale-up environment at an early stage.
You will have overall responsibility for our Holding entities and work in close collaboration with Group Finance to ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, which includes:
- Day to day accounting.
- Set up the reporting and financial accounting frameworks together with Group accounting to ensure accuracy and control of reported numbers.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting, including preparation of annual financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Report and prepare VAT and tax calculations.
- Support group accounting in preparation of annual reporting.
- Lead and implement set up of a new ERP system.
- Support business with financial data.
- Support Group Accounting at month end close.
- Manage a numerous of ad hoc projects, in a fast-paced environment.
To become successful in the role, we expect that you:
- Hold an academic degree within a relevant field of study such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or similar.
- Have previously experience from working in an international matrix organisation and have experience from working with Holding entities.
- Have at least 3-5 years of experience in Finance/ Accounting.
- Are an advanced user of Excel.
- Ideally have experience with Cognos controller.
- Are fluent in written and spoken, Swedish and English.
- Can handled many stakeholders simultaneously.
- Find it energizing to “educate” the business in correct handling of invoices and are keen to support when needed.
