With a mission to cut 1% of global emissions by 2035, we are now looking to expand our team and looking for a Research & Development (R&D) Intern.
The role
This internship is an unique opportunity for students or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in a groundbreaking field that combines animal science with organic chemistry. As R&D intern you will assist us through the various stages of product development, from preliminary research to regulatory approval processes. With mentorship from the R&D Manager you will develop skills and knowledge directly applicable to careers in research, sustainability, and technology development in the Agritech sector.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and execution of R&D projects under the guidance of the R&D manager
- Support compliance efforts with regulatory standards and scientific research protocols
- Contribute to risk assessment activities and help develop mitigation strategies
- Participate in the innovation process by assisting in the identification and preliminary evaluation of new product ideas
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration by providing research and data support.
- Help in documenting project progress and results for internal and external communication
We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field
- Demonstrated interest in agritech, sustainability, and environmental science
- Basic understanding of project management principles and a keen interest in developing these skills further
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills with proficiency in English; Swedish is a plus but not required
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
