Description

Position at Logitech

Logitech is the Sweet Spot for people who want their actions to have a positive global impact while having the flexibility to do it in their own way.

The Team and Role
Do you want to work in a global market but in a small and tight team? Do you want to contribute to software that will be used by millions of users? Do you want to help us shape The New Logic Of Work? If you said “Yes!”, on all three – we got the position for you!

We are looking to expand our team with a new member that is all about quality. As a QA engineer you’d be involved at the core of the multi faceted development process, to ensure the quality of the teams output.

Meetio set a new standard for meeting room management with the introduction of the Room-tablet in 2014. As a part of Logitech, we today offer industry leading software solutions for hot desking, mobile scheduling, wayfinding, and room management. Always with focus on simplicity, ease-of-use, and efficiency. We believe that the hybrid workplace (working both from home and the office) is the future. We want to be a leading player in the evolution of the workplace of the future, and we strive to build the best solutions for the people in it.

The QA Engineering role is new in the team, and you will be responsible for setting up and continuously enhance the processes and methodologies to ensure the team works in a way that is promoting great end product quality. We’re looking for you who is craving a sense of ownership of the quality assurance, you who welcome the challenge instead of shying away.

Your Contribution
Be Yourself. Be Open. Stay Hungry and Humble. Collaborate. Challenge. Decide and just Do. Share our passion for Equality and the Environment. These are the behaviors and values you’ll need for success at Logitech. In this role you will:

  • Ensure the quality of Logitech Video Collaboration devices and systems.
  • Work closely with developers to communicate defects and verify fixes throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Testing Android embedded applications and Web APIs to ensure high-quality performance and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test documentation; including test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
  • Perform daily sanity tests.
  • Test features/bug fixes alongside the team.
  • Support the functional team with testing activities.
  • Help with bug reproduction.
  • Set up test environments and testing labs.
  • Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Key Qualifications
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

  • 3+ years of industry experience.
  • Experience with writing functional test plans.
  • Experience with manual testing of embedded systems.
  • Knowledge of ADB tools.
  • Basic understanding of networking; IP address, MAC address, proxies, VLAN, DHCP.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols and tools like HTTP/HTTPS, JSON serialization, Postman, Curl.
  • Must be comfortable using Mac and Windows.
  • Meriting Qualifications

  • Familiar with web security standards
  • Experience with automation testing tools/frameworks, such as Selenium or Appium
  • Across Logitech we empower collaboration and foster play.
We help teams collaborate/learn from anywhere, without compromising on productivity or continuity so it should be no surprise that most of our jobs are open to work from home from most locations. Our hybrid work model allows some employees to work remotely while others work on-premises. Within this structure, you may have teams or departments split between working remotely and working in-house.

Logitech is an amazing place to work because it is full of authentic people who are inclusive by nature as well as by design. Being a global company, we value our diversity and celebrate all our differences. Don’t meet every single requirement? Not a problem. If you feel you are the right candidate for the opportunity, we strongly recommend that you apply. We want to meet you!

We offer comprehensive and competitive benefits packages and working environments that are designed to be flexible and help you to care for yourself and your loved ones, now and in the future. We believe that good health means more than getting medical care when you need it. Logitech supports a culture that encourages individuals to achieve good physical, financial, emotional, intellectual and social wellbeing so we all can create, achieve and enjoy more and support our families. We can’t wait to tell you more about them being that there are too many to list here and they vary based on location.
