The Opportunity:
As a Public Affairs & Market Access Manager your role will be to obtain patient access and secure funding to our medicines on a sub-national level. You will also work with politicians, Patient Advocacy groups and other stakeholders to support and invest in innovation.
This role will lead local/regional engagement with stakeholders and drive the implementation of the cross-functional regional plan towards healthcare decision-makers across the Astellas portfolio. You will be a part of the Astellas Nordic Public Affairs & Market Access Team with colleagues across the Nordic countries. This role is field-based and requires travelling.
You will be part of an inclusive team that works to develop innovative therapies for patients.

Key Activities for this role:
Responsible for identifying and developing solutions to challenges and tapping into opportunities to improve the access and uptake of our portfolio in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with the Head of Public Affairs to develop a strategic Public Affairs plan to support the prioritized disease areas and implement projects on a national level.
Work with patient advocacy groups as a business partner to improve the framework conditions for the patients and enhance Astellas image with the general public.
Collaborate and align with Key Account Managers, Medical Affairs, HEOR and Business Leads to achieve and continuously improve local and regional recommendations, listings, and guideline positions. Lead our collaboration with hospital pharmacists, clinical pharmacologists, key regional administrators, economists, key members of formulary committees and key hospital directors.
Support Tender and Pricing manager in tender compliance & contract management as required.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
Proven track record in the Swedish Health Care Market, decision making processes and political structure.
Extensive experience in comparable roles within healthcare, pharmaceutical or similar industries (preferred).
Preferably already build-up Public Affairs networks.
Pervious FINOSE collaboration.
Proficient in Swedish & English language, verbal and written (required).
Educations/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Additional Information:
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Location: Sweden (Stockholm).
This position follows our hybrid working model. The role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 2 days per month in our local office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
