Our costumer is a global leader in sustainable manufacturing solutions, committed to reducing their carbon footprint and promoting environmental stewardship. As part of their dedication to sustainability, they are now seeking a driven and passionate consult to join their global sustainability team.
Start Date: April 1st, 2024
End Date: June 30th, 2025
Preferred location: Stockholm or Sandviken
Job Description: As a Sustainability Project Manager focusing on achieving Net Zero emissions, you will play a pivotal role in leading their efforts to reduce CO2 emissions and drive sustainable practices across their business area. You will lead the Net Zero sub-committee and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies aimed at achieving their sustainability goals. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing local SBTi roadmaps for Scope 1 and 2 emissions, optimizing product transportation, sourcing renewable energy, and fostering collaborative relationships with our suppliers to address upstream Scope 3 emissions. Additionally, you will closely collaborate with their procurement organization to establish sustainable ways of working.
Personal Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) or Sustainability
* Proven track record of stakeholder management and networking
* Strong process orientation with a focus on delivering results.
* Experience with SBTi (Science-Based Targets initiative) is a plus.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in Swedish is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Net Zero sub-committee and drive cross-functional activities to reduce CO2 emissions.
* Develop and implement local SBTi roadmaps for Scope 1 and 2 emissions.
* Optimize product transportation and energy sourcing to minimize environmental impact.
* Collaborate with suppliers to address upstream Scope 3 emissions.
* Work closely with the procurement organization to establish sustainable ways of working.
Assignment Details:
* Travel required within the assignment, primarily between Sandviken and Stockholm sites.
* Minimum of 3 days per week at site.
* Remote work possible on designated days.
Advanced skills in English (Spoken and Written) are required as well as Skills in Swedish (Spoken and Written).
