As the Project Manager you will be responsible for providing leadership for one or more medium to large scale projects, focusing on: defining the project plan and resources; optimally managing partners, defining and managing risk and scope while delivering on time, within budget and as per project objectives; assisting pre- and post-sales engineers with technical knowledge within the scope of small and medium-sized automated systems. You will also work as a leader on projects, participate in cross-functional teams and interact with customer engineers and project leaders.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be :

Work as project manager within responsibility for assigned project(s) and resources in order to control the course of action vital to complete assigned multiple projects in a timely and successful manner within the project budget.

Responsible for direction, strategy, technical and financial correctness of the automation solution for the project.

Responsible for Project Risk Management

Customer Management including external partners, . customers and suppliers, and internal partners, . Emerson management and the project team.

Responsible for Project Cost Management, project procurement and purchase within the project budget.

When needed, provide presentations and engineering estimates to support sales organization

Write project definitions and other project related documents, both in English and in local language

Interpret/analyze project data and adherence to quality systems within Project as per ISO standards

Actively work to ensure that Emerson Global Project Standard (PMO) are being followed.

When needed, provide assistance, within the area of knowledge and expertise, to the service organization

Participate in the Trade compliance reporting process and ensure that all transactions are screened and filed in accordance with the Company’s Trade Compliance and Due Diligence procedures and to bring up all questions to the local Gatekeeper.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Bachelor’ or Master’s degree in Automation; Project Management Certification like PMP is a plus

Experience in an engineering project environment

Extensive knowledge of Project Management techniques and tools and MS-Office Applications

Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, tact and diplomacy

Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability along with strong eye for business and organizational skills

Proficiency in both oral and written English 

Availability to travel occasionally

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

Knowledge in some systems like DeltaV is an advantage.

Proficiency in Swedish.
