Our client is currently seeking a project coordinator to join their Project Management Office (PMO) team. Our client works in the innovation and technology industry. You will be part of a department of a top company in the construction and stone industries. Goods and services are made available worldwide through various sales channels that are relevant in the market.
The role is centered around the Concrete Surface and Floors product category, which involves construction machinery used for various stages of creating concrete floors. This includes tasks such as preparing the site, pouring concrete, and using specific tools for grinding until achieving a high gloss finish.
You will be working in a diverse international team, collaborating with departments like R&D, purchasing, manufacturing, and compliance. As a Project Coordinator, your main duties will include planning parts, analyzing product costs, and managing materials for prototype builds in the projects. You will closely work with the Project Manager to ensure smooth project execution and act as a central point of contact. In addition to your main responsibilities, you will also be involved in tasks like certification and supplier coordination to keep the project progressing.
As part of your job, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Maintaining and managing a comprehensive list of components, which includes information on their structure, cost, timing, and compliance.
- Ensuring the availability of materials for prototype builds by handling purchase orders, logistics, and tracking.
- Collaborating with the Project Manager to closely monitor the project’s progress and intervening with corrective measures as necessary.
- Assisting the project team with your expertise in processes when required.
- Actively participating in the enhancement of existing processes and ways of working within project management.
You have a university degree, a couple of years of professional experience, and a passion for overseeing projects. You have a background in effectively collaborating with diverse teams and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. You are skilled at analyzing situations and possess excellent organizational abilities. Additionally, you have good communication skills and find fulfillment in interacting with different types of people. You are a team-oriented problem solver who pays close attention to even the smallest details. You should be fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
