What you’ll do

As a Product Owner you’re accountable for the financial results and put focus on engineering and innovation – ensuring an efficient and effective way of working throughout the product lifecycle and facilitate an effective collaboration with stakeholders. In collaboration with your Product Team, you ensure the product is fit for its purpose and continuously improved to meet stakeholder expectations in terms of value. You also manage and actively empower personnel within the team and regularly assess the team’s prerequisites and ensure they have the necessary support and resources. Moreover, you foster skills development within the team, encouraging individual growth and promoting a culture of continuous learning.

As Product Owner for Productivity Platforms & Advisory, you’re responsible for:

  • Driving the strategy, development, operational excellence, and adoption of Microsoft Office 365 automation and productivity tools (Power Platform, Microsoft Viva, etc.) across our company
  • Understanding the technology, its integrations, dependencies, and relations between the power platform products like power apps, power automate, power Bi, power virtual agent etc. and other M365 products.
  • Understanding the technology, its integrations, dependencies, and relations between the Viva products, such as Viva engage, insight, goals, topics, etc. and other M365 products.
  • The overall Power platform and Viva management, including License management, security and compliance policy, roles and access management.
  • Being in the forefront and driving the automation and low code adoption for these products across the company.
  • Collaborating closely with the product team, stakeholders, suppliers, and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Establishing and effectively communicating the vision, strategy, and objectives for your Product Area.
  • Guaranteeing that the product remains valuable to our customers and users, by adhering to the principles of value, viability, feasibility, and usability.

The location for this job is Sandviken or Stockholm and we apply a hybrid work set-up where you can combine office work with work from home or any other location. Since your management team and some of your team members are based in Sandviken, you need to be able to travel to Sandviken regularly if you’re located in Stockholm.

What you know and need – this is important:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT
  • Technical expertise
  • Experience in leadership
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies, as well as knowledge within the Microsoft Viva
  • Effective stakeholder and financial management skills
  • Knowledge of agile work, fundamentals, frameworks, methods, and practices
  • Excellent English skills, while knowledge in Swedish is an advantage.

To be a good fit for this position, you have a passion for automation and low code development, and you need a strategic thinking and a user centric mindset. Being technically focused and a motivated problem solver, ready to pursue meaningful work really comes in handy and you always strive to make an impact. You have good communication and negotiation skills and the ability to provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members. Beneficial for this position, is also a proficiency in product ownership practices and methodologies and if you hold a track record in people- and change management, it’s considered a plus.
