This is an exciting opportunity for a Privacy Operations Officer to lead the first line of responsibility on all privacy related matters across Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland to ensure DLL acts in compliance with data protection regulation, protecting sensitive customer data and maintaining the trust of our customers and partners. You will enjoy working closely with experts across the business at all levels to delve into the detail on all personal data processing activities to ensure data protection compliance. As the trusted advisor on all privacy queries and issues in the Nordics you will manage all privacy operational tasks and lend support for Privacy operations in UK and Ireland working in conjunction with other members of the European Privacy Operations team. Day to day:
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Ensure Privacy Compliance across the Nordic countries adhering to the DLL Privacy framework
- Review and update the local Record of Processing Activity (ROPA)
- Manage and investigate privacy incidents, breaches, and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Conduct privacy risk and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) leading a Privacy by Design approach
- Manage all Data Subject requests
- Ensure compliant sharing of personal data with external parties
- Coordinate the Records Management project
- Provide support for Privacy Operations delivery to the UK and Ireland
Your knowledge, experience and qualifications:
You must have a thorough knowledge of GDPR, local data protection regulations and E-Privacy. You should also be technically capable: experience of Office 365 and One Trust would be an advantage. You should have at least 2 years’ experience in a privacy/data protection role and ideally experience working in a financial services company. You must be an excellent communicator and able to build strong working relationships with people at all levels. A team player with a good analytical approach and an eye for detail, you should be able to translate regulatory requirements into practical application. You will be the trusted advisor for Privacy in the Nordics and proactive in your approach being able to direct your own daily schedule. You should be educated to degree level and preferably hold a Privacy certification such as a CIPP/E or CIPM. You must be prepared to travel between the Nordics countries and to UK, Ireland and the Netherlands as required.
