SEB is now looking for a Performance Test Manager to implement the strategy and lead the test effort in a team as part of our most unique modernization projects ever.
Our Cash Ledger is at the heart of the bank, handling our core transactions. As part of future-proofing the bank we are re-building the platform and will deliver our first solution in production 2024. We’re modernizing our very core, and our way of working in a mainframe environment with test automation, integrations, and modern mainframe development in a challenging but fun environment.
About the role:
As Performance Test Manager in the Cash Ledger project, you’ll be involved in the end-to-end test strategy and execution. Your task is to understand the project’s objectives and the needs and requirements of our stakeholders and align to test strategies, processes, and working methods. You will have New Cash Ledgers test strategy to guide you, but you will also have responsibility for that we are following processes, ways of working, teams’ involvement, environments readiness and ensuring that we deliver stable and reliable deployments and solutions. You will be responsible for implementing the performance testing strategy within New Cash Ledger, including working with non-functional requirements, monitoring, and analysis to ensure the solution will fulfil the business requirement.
We’re not re-creating the current platform 1:1 but adapting the new one to our present and future business and tech needs. We have chosen modern mainframe solutions for the new platform – keeping it robust and reliable. You are in the New Cash Ledger Team, formed 3,5 years ago with the task of re-shaping the platform together with a project group of around 40 people. You will work in agile sprints (SAFe framework) alongside other test managers, project managers, devs, solution architects, POs, business analysts and Scrum masters.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
- Experience from end-to-end testing and performance testing
- Experience from complex IT environments, preferably within banking or finance
- Strong collaboration and leadership abilities
- Experience from being flexible in your work, as requirements might change along the way
- Ability to coordinate performance testing with several teams
- Experience from communicating and handling both external and internal stakeholders
- The ability to communicate effortlessly in English
