We are looking for a passionate and dynamic leader to drive the brand to the next level in Scandinavia. Valtra is a market leader in Nordics & Baltics and offers now an exceptionally exciting position for strong team player to join the brand sales team. In this position one gets to be in a central position and influence the future development of agriculture and food production chain.

You will report into our Director, Sales Europe & Middle East and will work closely with the sales and marketing team in Europe as well as other key stakeholders around the organization (Distribution management, Field service, Commercial aftersales, Fuse precision farming, Finance etc.). This position is ideally based in our AGCO office in Uppsala, Sweden and we expect you to be with your team members, customers, and dealers frequently in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

Your Impact

  • Defining and ensuring the implementation of the Valtra market strategy in Scandinavia with the team and the dealer network
  • Driving continuous profitable growth of Valtra brand in terms of market share, customer satisfaction, and financial contribution, in line with the strategic growth plan
  • Leading the local Danish and Norwegian Valtra team of Area Sales Managers, Product Manager, Marketing Specialist for Valtra and directly supporting the Swedish distribution partner in driving sales and delivering the best tractor experience
  • Driving digital sales funnel management to the next level
  • Representing the Valtra Brand internally and externally in a way that reflects favorably the image of the brand


Your Experience and Qualifications

You are thrilled to shape the direction of the brand in Scandinavia and to create exceptional customer experiences. At Valtra we aren’t afraid to get our hands dirty and we expect you as the Scandinavian sales leader to do the same. You have enthusiasm towards your professional career and enjoy working with high technology products. Your social networking skills are top-class and your commitment to building partnerships with different stake holders is your strength. Previous experience with solution sales, machinery, heavy vehicles and specifically agriculture is considered as a benefit. You are a business-minded person and get excited of digital sales funnel management and digitized customer service.

  • Master’s degree in Business & Administration, Marketing, Technology or Agricultural Engineering/Agronomy
  • +5 years of leadership experience (50% as sales team manager or in a leading position)
  • Fluent Oral/Written Swedish and English communication skills
  • High degree of PC literacy with Microsoft Office and CRM (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Strong communication skills in listening, challenging, explaining, giving feedback – Speak up
  • Strong interpersonal skills in building relationships, sensitivity, empathy – Team up
  • Solution-seeking nature – Farmer first
