For our great Rare Disease Oncology team, we would like to welcome a new colleague in the hybrid role as Medical Advisor/Medical Scientific Liaison.
This role is based in Sweden, and in addition to supporting the in-line products, you will be responsible for the launch preparation of a new product in colorectal cancer across Sweden and Finland.

At the same time, you will be supporting the cross functional team with your expert knowledge within oncology. ACCOUNTABILITIES
HCP Engagement, data dissemination and RWE

Scientific exchange and data dissemination, where you as ambassador for Takeda will have the responsibility to build and maintain professional relationships and engaging in meaningful scientific and medical dialogues with HCP´s, patient advocacy groups and other external stakeholders, to expand Takeda’s research, advisory and educational opportunities.

Seek, collect, organize, and share scientific insights about key strategic questions, gaps and projects.

Organize and execute interactions with key stakeholders to uncover their needs

Participate in the development and implementation of key medical activities (e.g. Advisory Boards)

You will be an important piece in the puzzle to co-create and drive RWE plans in collaboration with our colleagues in the Data Digital and Technology department.

Continuously screen, review and analyze scientific literature; generate summaries and critical assessments if appropriate

Identify and communicate operational understanding of healthcare systems across functions, including changes in the healthcare landscape

Participate in the development and implementation of key medical activities (e.g. medical education and peer-to-peer training activities)

Use specific disease and product knowledge to support Takeda’s product portfolio and act as a field based medical expert of drug and disease for Takeda
Medical Projects, Value Based Partnerships including OCE (Omni Channel Engagement), Pipeline & Internal activities

Proactively Identify and drive actions/projects to strengthen Takeda and our Core Team to maximize medical performance.

You will be expected to have a mindset of continual learning and to stay updated on the advancements in oncology research, attending relevant conferences and educational forums to further enhance expertise and knowledge in the field.

Therapeutic training for the cross functional team contributing to an excellent team performance.

Takeda has an interest in broadening our engagement in LIF, where the medical perspective brings true value when driving projects and raising awareness on specific topics from a pharma industry perspective. This includes the area of precision medicine where oncology is in focus, and we foresee that you will bring value to these discussions together with other colleagues from our business.
QUALIFICATIONS, KEY SKILLS, CAPABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES

Advanced nursing degree or advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD or PhD or equivalent)

Experience in oncology is required.

Min 2 years of experience as an MSL or similar from the pharma industry or consultancy

Scientific skills and track record of effective and influential presentations within oncology

Valid driving license

Excellent communication skills, fluent English and Swedish

Availability to work in a hybrid setting, partly field-based in Sweden
