We are Fatshark

We are a critically acclaimed Swedish game development studio with about 180 experienced and skilled employees. We are most well-known for developing the Warhammer: Vermintide franchise, but have also helped develop a number of AAA titles and we recently launched the highly anticipated game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.

We have grown quite a bit over the last few years and are almost two-hundred “Sharks” now, but we still embrace the same values that we started with and still think of ourselves like one big family with fun at the center. Come into our world, a world known for our crazy internally designed socks, hackweeks, and Friday afternoons for studio-wide “social play” time. It all adds up to an approachable, fun, passion-driven yet communal environment for us to work in.

The role

As a Manager at Fatshark, you are an inspirational and cultural role model who is leading by example. You are responsible for implementing the company’s vision and direction for the organization in your team.

You would be an integral part of the new structure, where you will have the opportunity to build and support Fatshark within tech, product, design and art making sure to optimize product development within the projects. You would be a member of the studio management team and leadership team of a game product. Apart from managing a team of developers within the game project, you would also have managerial responsibilities over team leads (within the same project).

Important to note: depending on your previous experience and background, but also your preferences, we might consider you for the mixed role of being both a manager and a team lead for a smaller team. For bigger teams within the project, these roles will be separated.
