Contribute to NKT Falun electrical testing laboratory and ensure our future excellence
In our test lab – in the heart of the production in Falun and with a wide range of testing possibilities being able to conduct all different test when it comes to testing of cables – you will be the manager of our MV/HV electrical testing. As manager you will support our engineers with test expertise and drive our testing development and implementation.
The NKT site in Falun is a part of an international group of sites producing Telecom, 1 kV, MV and HV products. At NKT, safety is of highest priority and you will be the driver in test safety questions as well as executing electrical and mechanical safety- and legal implementations.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working as a manager, and together with the rest of the team, drive and perform execution with a strong engineering focus. You have a high safety and quality focus to people, equipment and test objects. You have a good analytical ability and a problem solving mind set and you thrive in a role were you both manage the team and practical execute assignments together with your co-workers.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Manage our MV/HV laboratory and its personnel
• Assure continuous improvement in testing quality, -technology and -productivity
• Perform relevant electrical type- and sample tests
• Perform cable ageing and breakdown tests
• Technical support of equipment and work instructions for routine tests of MV/HV as well as 1 kV products
• Interpretation of Swedish as well as international electrical standards
• Customer contact for type tests, acceptance tests and claims

Your CV includes:

• An educational background within electrical engineering or likewise
• Leadership experience, might be from project management or similar
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

This position is based in Falun, Sweden and is a temporary contract with start as soon as possible.
