About the Role

Atlas Antibodies’ products are used in research and development to improve diagnoses and enhance patient outcomes. The quality control team is responsible for performing lab-based analyses with ICC, IHC, ELISA, and Western blot and consists of seven dedicated Laboratory engineers.

You will be overall responsible for ensuring product quality in accordance with ISO 9001. We hope you are eager to collaborate with your team and drive the work related to continuous improvements, to enhance customer satisfaction and overall efficiency. You will be reporting to the Head of Operations and work closely with the Group Manager of Production and Supply Chain.

Work tasks and responsibilities:
  • Process owner of the quality control function with responsibility for product quality and compliance.
  • Manage daily operations; staff safety awareness, trainings, etc.
  • Develop and lead your team of laboratory personnel.
  • Create goals for the quality control unit and implement company strategies to achieve and exceed set goals.
  • Driving continuous improvements for reaching efficient operation.

About you

To succeed in this role, you are knowledgeable in the required field of work. You do not need to use Google to understand what ICC, IHC, ELISA stand for. You are eager to make people thrive at work and are keen to use your experience and ambition to improve and drive the daily operation. As a leader communication skill is essential both to collaborate with your team but also across functions. If we talk to each other, we are much more likely to also understand each other.

You have an interest in technical solutions, automation, and process optimization using digital tools. Developing the daily operation will be an important task.

Your profile:
  • MSc or BSc in Biomedical analyst, Biomedical science or relevant degree in Life Science.
  • 3-4 years of work experience working with relevant analytical methods (ICC, IHC, ELISA, and Western blot).
  • Previous management experience is meritorious.
  • Fluent in English is a requirement, skills in Swedish are to your advantage but not a requirement.

The position is based in the Stockholm office in Bromma and allows flexibility to work remotely from time to time. During summer 2024, the site will move to a new modern office at Forskaren in Hagastaden.
