As a leader in our industry, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager for our Parts Lifecycle team to help us continue our tradition of excellence.

The selected candidate will manage the Parts Lifecycle team of Product Specialists and Technical Solution Engineers to ensure the aftermarket support levels are maintained for the entire equipment portfolio.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Lead a team of product specialists and engineers
  • Build a strong cross-functional team to ensure the agreed targets are achieved
  • Owner of the end to end parts lifecycle management processes within Kalmar Services
  • Act as a partner to sourcing and supply chain department in providing guidance and policies
  • Drive activities to reduce overall part numbers and increase % of sellable items
  • Drive lifecycle services with refurb and rebuild technical capacity
  • Parts Lifecycle team budget responsibility and function planning
  • Lead the creation of “lifecycle intelligence”
  • Active member of the Parts Product Management team for spare parts.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:

  • Education level needs to be a university degree corresponding to area of responsibility or
  • similar knowledge through experience.

Experience:

  • Team management
  • Heavy duty mobile equipment
  • Ability to work within multinational and matrix organisations.

Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of assembly processes and good understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to lead teams with purpose
  • Ability to empower team performance
  • Change management
  • Analytical thinking and strong ability to successfully resolve complex problems and issues
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about working with people, good team-player
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written
  • Self starter
  • Winning and positive attitude
