Our Ship Management is growing with new customers and to further strengthen our Fleet Management Systems (FMS) group we are now searching for a Maintenance Coordinator for permanent employment. The position is full-time and is tied to the Stockholm office and requires, at times, travels to vessels and suppliers. We offer you the opportunity to work remotely to some extent.

As Maintenance Coordinator you will have to focus on the FMS with the task of setting up, coordinating, and streamlining the maintenance systems for the vessels within the fleet. You will interact closely with the vessels, as well as our technical and quality teams, and towards suppliers. You will also interact and engage with our team of superintendent and get involved in projects and the day-to-day activities within the Ship Management department. To cross interact in-between disciplines is encouraged.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Assist and support the organization to succeed with our maintenance strategy.
  • Responsible for verifying and update maintenance schemes, to ensure the latest maker recommendations and company policies are followed.
  • Help to align the FMS, within the fleet and in-between sister vessels.
  • Assist in setting up the FMS for new additions to the fleet, which may include transfers from other platforms.
  • Support the process owners for our BMS.
  • Stay abreast of rules, regulations, and development within your area of responsibility.
  • You will also be expected to participate in or support other internal projects, within your field of expertise.

Who are you?

We are looking for a person holding a bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or similar. Onboard experience from Car Carriers, RoRo vessels or similar is helpful, but not an absolute requirement. To succeed in this role, you will need to have effective communication skills and to be able to work independently as well as part of a team, interacting with team members both in Sweden and in Singapore, as well as with the vessels in the worldwide operating fleet. Our Group language is English which means that you should speak and write English fluently, including technical terms. High level of proficiency in Swedish is also a merit. We also require a good understanding and knowledge of the MS Office software and preferably familiarity with SQL select statements. Our primary PMS platform is BASSnet.
