Build your career in contract management at Dustin, and gain experience as Junior Legal Counsel in an inclusive and international Legal Team.

As a Legal Counsel, you’ll get the opportunity to work with contract management, assessing tenders, and advising the business on legal matters. You’ll join an inclusive team of engaged and skilled legal counsels from Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and the Benelux, who are ready to support you and see you succeed. This position may be situated in Stockholm and some travel within Nordics (especially Norway) is expected.

Hi, my name is Merlijn Platvoet and I’m the Contracts & Commercial team manager. In the recent leadership evaluation, the team highlighted my leadership style as empowering, coaching, and supportive. We are a team that collaborates and grows together.

What does a Junior Legal Counsel do at Dustin?

You’ll get the support to advise the Norwegian part of our organisation on legal matters related to sales (public and private tenders), procurement, operations and corporate affairs matters. This means you’ll be working closely with stakeholders from our sales and operations teams as well as the legal team. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting our Norwegian organisation by managing contracts, and deviation reports, providing negotiation support and giving advice
  • Collaborate with team members to develop qualitative and efficient workflows and guidelines
  • Develop training material, template documents and guides, and report on new legislation and law development
  • Assist our Group Legal Team in legal research and preparations of responses to internal clients’ queries as well as advising internal departments with regard to applicable legal requirements

You are given continuous opportunities for development and will have a knowledgeable team around you. They all strive for a friendly and supportive culture and enjoy sharing their knowledge, reaching common goals, and connecting over a Fika.

This is what you’ll get

We believe we offer so much more than what benefits on a list can say. But you won’t know that until you join us. So, we will still want to list a few:

  • 20% discount on memberships at SATS and an annual wellness allowance
  • A one-time home office allowance of 3.500 SEK to buy home office equipment
  • Collective agreement, pension plans according to ITP1, parental pay, and insurance
  • Employee discount for products through our Dustin web shop
  • A flexible work life where we embrace the mix of working digitally and from the office
  • Bring your dog! – we have an office area specifically for you and your best friend

At Dustin, we prioritise personal development and growth through individualised plans and access to our Dustin Academy, in addition to promoting a healthy lifestyle through our Dustin Movement activities.

What you bring

You are motivated by empowering the business through confident decision-making and you enjoy working in a cross-functional business environment. Your strong integrity allows you to translate legal advice into solutions that deliver business value and you bring the following:

  • A Master’s of Law (preferably also Norwegian law)
  • A passion for creating efficient processes, knowledge-sharing and building relationships
  • Creativity to find solutions that lie within the legal framework
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English and Norwegian
  • A proactive and collaborative approach

We believe our colleagues are the key reason for our positive development. And we believe our development is what gives you the possibility to grow. That is why we can promise you one thing:

You keep us moving. We keep you moving.

Our Recruitment Process

We value and embrace differences in background and perspective, so even if you feel that you are not a 100% match for this role, we still encourage you to apply!
