What you will do
Within Master Data Management (MDM) team you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will:
- Closely collaborate with business representatives from the Digital & IT departments and with the Volvo Trucks business to ensure high quality, stable and secure solutions
- Gather and clarify requirements from business stakeholders about new functionalities
- Work as a Subject Matter Expert for Product Master Data Domain
- Work with Data Quality of the Individual Product Master Data in collaboration with Data Stewards from the business side
- Deliver formal system requirement specifications (functional and non-functional) and manage these specifications throughout the application’s life cycle
- Establish a requirements management plan
- Work in close collaboration with IT team, Business representatives, and End-users. Provide input to visual design related to the End-user perspective
- Approve the delivery of User Stories and lead the execution of User Acceptance Tests

Our goal is to be a transformation enabler for Volvo Group’s business by developing and industrializing Core Data Products and setting the right Master Data Governance in cooperation with other stakeholders.
Who are you?

- At least 3-5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or demonstrated ability to match the skills at the required level
- Ability to present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations in verbal, written, and presentation formats using storytelling and logical arguments
- Good understanding of formalized methods for specification (e.g., Use Case Modelling, Data Modelling, Mind Map) and tools (e.g., PowerBI)
- Experience in working agile (SCRUM)
- Curiosity and analytical mindset – ability to ask the right questions, identify relevant sources, combine data sets, and present conclusions
- Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders from all levels of the organization
- Ability and willingness to take new challenges and go outside the comfort zone
- Preferably have experience of working with MDM platforms.
