IT and Information Security Manager

Are you ready to join product development of Sweden’s largest property portal and play a central role in helping millions of users find their new home? Hemnet is searching for a passionate and experienced IT and Information Security Manager to join our team. With tens of millions of users relying on our platform, you will have the possibility to make an impact on both our organization and platform security.

As our IT and Information Security Manager, you will be part of our IT team which consists of four members, overseeing critical systems such as Google Workspace, 1Password, Atlassian, Slack, and processes such as device management, compliance and access management. In addition to managing these shared systems, you will collaborate with various departments, assisting with administrative tasks, provide general computer support, and foster a seamless IT service function. You will report directly to our CTO.

You will play a pivotal role in setting priorities, establishing efficient working practices, and contributing to our existing framework. Your input will be instrumental in shaping our IT operations going forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help secure Hemnet’s business by developing and implementing policies, evaluating systems and processes, and driving security initiatives.
  • Staff responsibility for the IT and InfoSec teams, including managing personnel and promoting a security-focused culture.
  • Define the vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for the IT and InfoSec teams.
  • Program management for both IT operations and solution implementation; Oversee change management and communications as it relates to IT systems.
  • Build a sustainable IT and InfoSec team to support Hemnet’s future growth by running the IT Service desk, defining and managing ticket SLAs, and move towards greater automation (and where appropriate) self-service of ticket
  • Mentor and develop team members’ competencies.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in an IT Operations manager position with people responsibility.
  • Several years of experience in information security, preferably from different companies.
  • Familiarity with terminal and experience in scripting.
  • General networking knowledge.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues.
  • Open-minded, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a less hierarchical environment.

Full proficiency in Swedish and English.
