Investor Relations Officer

Fullständig jobbeskrivning

Are you interested in the capital markets, enjoy a dynamic workplace and interacting with many different internal and external stakeholders? Join our Investor Relations team in Stockholm, Sweden, in a role that gives you a unique exposure and insight into ASSA ABLOY.

What you would do as our Investor Relations Officer
You will work closely with the executive management team and other internal teams, manage the relationships with our group’s financial stakeholders, prepare presentations for our external stakeholders and gradually take over the project management of our Annual Report. In compliance with financial market regulations, you will on a daily basis develop and maintain our relationship with ASSA ABLOY’s shareholders and analysts. This includes responding to numerous investor and analyst questions, including sustainability, so that the financial market gains a thorough understanding of our operations and strategy. International travel is part of this role, and your home office is at our headquarters in central Stockholm.

You will report to the Head of Investor Relations.

You would also:
  • Perform financial and operational analysis and assessments to be used for communication internally and externally;
  • Be closely involved in, and sometimes project manage, the production of key internal and external financial material (e.g. annual report, interim reports, presentation material);
  • Review and provide feedback of sell-side comments and industry reports;
  • Monitor the share price and ASSA ABLOY’s shareholder register; and
  • Manage and keep updated the group’s investor relations website.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who preferably has:
  • 3-5 years financial background experience from the capital market and/or within investor relations and/or communications in a public company, financial controlling or other relevant capital market experience;
  • degree in finance, economics, law or other relevant education;
  • ability to deliver independently, manage multiple priorities and keep attention to detail;
  • strong relationship-building, teamwork and co-ordination skills;
  • good knowledge of working in Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Power Point; and
  • good written and verbal communication skills in English (required) and Swedish (advantage).

We believe that you will enjoy this position if you have an interest and understanding of the equity market, financial reporting/modelling, business strategy and industrial companies; and similarly you understand/are interested in sustainability and related reporting requirements. You will work hands-on with financial and operational modelling, writing reports and prepare presentations and events. It is a great role for someone who is curious, organized and able to move between tasks with speed and accuracy. For example, you may be required to move from reviewing financial models to responding to external questions about our products and functionality to reviewing the schedule for our next investor event in parallel with creating a new presentation for our next investor event.
