Since our current Business Controller on Home are on maternity leave, we are now looking for a Business Controller who will temporary be responsible for the controlling of our Home-category as well as being highly involved in driving the controlling organization forward!

About the position

In this role you will be responsible for controlling and analysis for our interior assortment in regards to strategy, planning, buying and selling as well as responsible for making sure that we in the assortment team take business minded decisions and actions based on the analysis. You will also act as a support for both the business management team and other functions where your analysis will contribute to ensure better decision making and business development. All with the purpose to secure a long term sustainable growth and profitability.

Work tasks include:

    Contribute to a sustainable growth and profitability short- and long-term through analysis, actions and development of new methods and processes as well as by working closely together with other parts of the organization in order for us to take the best decisions for our customers and business.  
    Support our stakeholders regarding strategy, planning, buying and selling as well as responsible for making sure that we take business minded decisions and actions, based on analysis and business cases.  
    Act as a support to the CFO and other managers to make decisions based on fact-based analysis.  
    Responsible for setting sales & buying plan for the business area as well as forecasts  
    Support the team in buy follow up and make sure that we act on latest information  
    Perform ongoing sales and margin analysis to identify future potentials and risks  
    Manage campaigns and sales, including overall planning and setup in the system.  

    Be part of setting up new processes, tools and methods for the business

    You have an academic degree in business, engineering or similar area  
    You have at least 2 year experience of business controlling, preferably within retail and fashion  
    You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel and PowerPoint)  
    Experience within E-com is meritorious  
    You are fluent in English and swedish  

Other information

     Type of employment: Full-time. Temporary until December 2024, with the possibility of permanent employment in a similar position.

     Start date: As soon as possible  
     Office based / Home based: Office based. It is possible to work remotely one day a week.
