Founded by a team of financial experts and ex-MAT professionals, IMP Software has a deep understanding of the challenges facing multi-academy trusts. Our mission is to empower multi-academy trusts with the tools and expertise they need to manage their finances more efficiently and effectively. That’s why we’re trusted by trusts across the country to provide the only budgeting, forecasting, and reporting software designed specifically for them. From a standing start, in less than 5 years we are now used by most large trusts to help them deliver smarter MAT Finance.

Role Description:

As the Head of People, you will play a pivotal role in fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture that aligns with our company values and business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to make a significant impact on our people strategy during a period of rapid growth. We are looking for somebody who enjoys being invested in the professional development of each employee and enabling them to achieve success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and driving forward our positive and inclusive company culture that aligns with our core values, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Design and manage a competitive and comprehensive employee benefit structure, ensuring they align with the evolving needs of our diverse workforce.
  • Promote employee well-being through initiatives such as wellness programs, mental health support, and work-life balance strategies.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that supports the growth of our employees and aligns with the IMP’s objectives. Our people are our biggest asset, so we want to ensure they’re reaching their full potential.

Skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining a positive culture within an organisation during a period of rapid growth.
  • Able to act with a caring and compassionate nature towards all employees.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills – approachable by all employees.
  • A strong understanding of UK employment laws
  • Demonstrable experience with designing and implementing a comprehensive benefit package.
  • A CIPD L7 qualification would be desirable.

Salary: £65,000 – £75,000
