About the role
The role includes the following focus areas:
- SEO and content strategy: Driving organic traffic and on site customer journey.
- CRM & CDP: Responsible for lead acquisition, retention and loyalty, including campaign plan and email strategy.
- Social Media and Influencer marketing: Managing a growing community of rug lovers in our social platforms
- Managing the own media team: A team of dedicated channels specialists, based in Malmö and Berlin
You will join our Marketing team where we are devoted to helping people in their search for the perfect rug. The Marketing department is a full-service in-house agency, working with SEM, SEO, branding, content production, Social Media, Influencers, campaign management, and CRM where the own media team focuses on making it as easy as possible for users to find and buy what they are looking for and to build long-term relationships that engage, activate and support our customers. You will report to the CMO and the position is based at our headquarters in Malmö, Sweden, with a portion of the team operating from Berlin.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the company, including our performance marketing team and purchase department, but also with external partners when needed.
How you make an impact

Responsible for own media channels performing according to plan, both from a business perspective and customer benefit point of view.

Plan and prioritise the work of the Own media team, ensuring an optimal set up in terms of resources and clear and collaborative processes.

In alignment and collaboration with management and internal stakeholders, keep the content & campaign plan up to date for own media channels, as well as implement activities according to plan.

In cooperation with the CMO responsible for the campaign & communication plan.

Responsible for the successful implementation of our new Customer Data Platform (CDP) and First Party Data strategy.

Responsible for the overall SEO strategy and direction to increase the organic visibility of our website.

Oversee Influencer and Social media strategy and activations

Together with your team, responsible for briefing of assets and content needed for the own media channels, and ensuring that deliveries from the Creative Team and external agencies are in line with brief and brand expression.

Keeping up to date with current developments within the online marketing industry to proactively incorporate relevant trends and innovations.
What you bring
-
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious individual, with deep expertise and proven track record of leading marketing teams (either inhouse or at an agency), preferably within own and earned media.

In-depth knowledge of CRM, SEO and campaign & content production, including, but not limited to: customer segmentation & infrastructure, ecosystem for email (push/pull), A/B testing, content planning & production, campaign & communication plans, on-site activation, copywriting and influencer marketing.

Passion for e-commerce and customer behaviour on site.

High analytical skills and knowledge in data management, tracking and tagging, including on-site attribution. Experience working with GA4 is a must and Looker studio is highly beneficial.

An active interest and understanding of technology as a support for operations, including but not limited to: SEO tools, CDP:s, CMS (knowledge in word press highly beneficial), creative versioning platforms, translation efficiencies, AI, DAM, Brand management platforms etc.

Strong business acumen, and a structured problem-solving approach and mindset, with the ability to clearly reason and present solutions based on insights and best practice to internal stakeholders, including management.

Fluent English on a business level, Swedish optional.

3+ years of experience in a similar position.
