The Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) function is driving the deployment of advanced financial crime prevention capabilities to continuously meet regulatory expectations and to be in the forefront in fighting financial crime.
My name is Primoz Drol and I am Head of Group AML Office, Financial Crime Prevention. I’m now looking for a Head of Business Wide Risk Assessment to join our team.

About the job
The Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Business Wide Risk Assessment (ML/TF BWRA) is conducted at least on an annual basis and is covering all of SEB business. It is executed in close collaboration with the business divisions and sites. The purpose is to assess ML/TF risk through analyzing vulnerabilities and exposure to ML/TF threats, and the strength of our control framework.
From the BWRA we identify business requirements for actions we need to take to strengthen our control environment to limit the risks of SEB being used for money laundering or terrorist financing.
You will be managing a great team of specialists, performing the BWRA, product risk assessment, country risk assessment and industry risk assessment in a timely manner in order to ensure that SEB is managing its risks in these areas.

As Head of BWRA you will, together with your team:
  • Participate in, and contribute to the overall FCP risk and control framework development.
  • Develop the BWRA methodology together with other FCP areas and Business divisions.
  • Maintain and execute the BWRA ensuring that it is aligned with the overall FCP risk and control framework.
  • Maintain and execute the product, industry and country risk assessments and lists, and ensuring alignment with the overall FCP risk and control framework.
  • Coordinate the execution of the BWRA process across all business areas, providing support and guidance to the units performing an assessment.
  • Consolidate the assessments written by the business units into a group BWRA and present to relevant governance fora
  • Ensure a close collaboration with key stakeholders both within FCP, Business divisions, Sites and 2nd and 3rd lines of defense.

Who are you?
You have good knowledge of the ML/TF BWRA´s role in the risk and control framework and understanding the importance of the BWRA processes from both an internal perspective and a regulatory perspective. You are an experienced manager with excellent people skills and can manage a team cross geography. You have a strategic mindset and a pragmatic approach to solving issues. You have very good collaboration skills and build strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the organization. You have experience of driving a development agenda. You are interested in providing a high level of service and you are a true team player with a strong capability of prioritizing the daily work in a structured manner. You are open to new ideas and delivery driven. You have a wide network within the bank or a great interest in creating one.
