Global Product Manager

Are you an active, customer oriented product professional ready to move on? We are looking for a Global Product Manager/application engineer to drive growth and increase market share of Valmet Refiner Segments. You will be responsible for application / technical sales support and customer support for the mechanical pulping refiner segment business. As a part of our team you will develop solutions to meet customer needs. Main responsibilitiesTakes care of refiner segments product support Work in global refiner segment development expert networkParticipates in mill audits, product trials, problem solving and product trainingAnalyzes customer´s refining processes in connection with the mill performanceManages mill process reference data Investigate, research, analyze, and work with mill personnel to recommend solutions to production performance challenges, ideas for process improvement, and proper operating procedures for refining systemsDevelops refiner segments solutions and process improvements to improve customer´s processesReference management and customer feedbackActively promote the Refiner Segments products to Valmet customers and to the internal sales networkTravel (both domestic and international) is requiredAdvance training and understanding of internal and external customers in the refining process through preparation and presentation of technical papers, seminars, and training sessions To succeed in this position, you should have following characteristics, skills and experience:Customer oriented mindsetSelf-directed and motivated.In minimum Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) of Science in mechanical, paper, chemical, process/automation technology. Experience in fiber process applications and customer solutions is considered as an asset.Experience in product sales and commercial awareness considered as an assetLanguage skills: Fluent in English and Swedish, other languages considered as an assetSolid presentation, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results. Take initiative to identify and anticipate customer needs and turn them to product recommendations.Knowledge of common Microsoft tools, remote working skills such as presentation and training skills via TeamsWillingness to travel: Scandinavia (primary countries), Project start-ups globally (e.g. Indonesia, China)Other: Automation knowledge and Simulation and analysis skills related to the pulp and paper processes considered as an asset Location: Preferably in Sweden (E.g. Stockholm, Sundsvall, Karlstad, Hagfors) but other locations in Nordic (E.g.
