A Snapshot of Your Day
One of your priorities is to ensure a smooth continuation and adaptation of the Global Mobility Management (GMM) services throughout Siemens Energy. Shaping as well as managing GMM strategy, guidelines, and processes will be another important part of your role. You will support & create the future development of our Global Mobility Management portfolio and develop the GMM services further to support the business and HR strategy. Finally, you will contribute to culture change in Siemens Energy with regards to GMM.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Reviewing the end-to-end Global Mobility processes on a host- and home-based approach, identifying as well as mitigate risk as necessary, driving and designing business focused solutions for the Global Mobility function with a focus on process harmonization and cost efficiency
  • Working closely with the Head of Global Mobility Governance as well as other HR partners in the design of a successful and business relevant Global Mobility strategy focused on the mobilization of cross-border assignees with a focus on internal governance, business, and talent development
  • Promoting lean processes, simplifying the Global Mobility ecosystem in partnership with internal colleagues & external vendors as well as focusing on working collaboratively to identify and implement optimal procedures, shed obsolete legacy systems as well as processes and therefore being an ambassador for continuous improvement
  • Ensuring adherence to applicable laws and internal guidelines as well as driving collaboration with the corporate tax department, finance, procurement as well as HR providers and other collaborators
  • Establishing as well as maintaining global mobility standards and instructions (e.g., required documents…), monitoring their consistent application as well as providing governance related assessments for HR global mobility management partners
  • Supervising the effectiveness of global mobility policies and programs as well as recommending modifications
  • Monitoring competitive trends in global mobility management as well as participating and conducting internal and/or external surveys

What You Bring
  • University degree in business, immigration/labor law, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Longstanding experience in International Human Resources, preferably with energy and/or EPC companies
  • Solid background in the assignment business with in-depth knowledge of regulations in taxation, social security, immigration, company guidelines, IT processes
  • Up to date regarding global mobility trends as well as a thorough understanding of company and country perspectives
  • Project management experience and shown team management skills as well as excellent skills in relation to personal interaction, coordination, and negotiation
  • High level of intercultural sensitivity, experience with living and working in different regions / with different cultures
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
