## **Description:** HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) has a very exciting journey ahead being one of the leaders in the green energy transition with our state of the art technology. We are foreseeing a remarkable market growth the coming years. We are now looking for an experienced and driven Global Manager to the Valve Electrical Design teams at HVDC. The valve electrical design teams are responsible for the detailed electrical design of the converter valves for HVDC and SVC applications. The continuously expanding team consists today of around 50 employees distributed over 4 teams in three countries. Two teams are located in Sweden, one in India and China respectively. The role will therefore give the opportunity to travel a couple of times each year. In this role you will be a key team player in leading and driving your teams part of our strategical transformation program. A program aiming to have us improve our systematic quality approach, increase productivity as well as to continue expand with more employees. You will be part of the Global Valve management team and report to the Global Head of Valves. For the teams in Sweden, this role both has direct reports as well as a line manager reporting to it. We see that you applying to this role is a communicative and experienced leader from a similair global position. You are driven and self-motivated. You are a continues learner, always open to learn new things. Since the majority of the Swedish team is located in Ludvika, we see this as the preferred hiring place. Vsters is however also possible since there is an HVDC office there. In the early phase of this role we see that you spend time in the office to get to know the team. Long term there will be possibilities to work remotely some days per week. **Your responsibilities:** - Lead and coordinate the different global valve electrical design teams - Lead and promote the implementation of our transformation strategy - Secure clear responsibility for team and process development to ensure Valve Electrical Design at HVDC are equipped to meet both challenges and opportunities ahead - Ensure your team delivers on time and with high quality to meet customer expectations - Take active part in the management team and work with a holistic picture - Make sure the team has a clear direction of systematically working with quality and continuous improvements - Living Hitachi Energy core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. **Your background:** - You have a bachelor or masters degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent work experience - To be successful in this role, we believe that you have several years of experience from a similar role - You are open minded and have lead global teams through change and expansion - As a leader you are communicative and help your team to translate visions and strategies into meaningful work - You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
