Assessio is growing, and we are now looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join the platform teams building our next-generation talent management solutions. As a Frontend Developer at Assessio, you will work within a cross-functional agile team of software developers, UI/UX designers and product and domain specialists. Working with highly motivated and experienced colleagues, you’ll have the opportunity to work with modern technologies, influence technology and product decisions, and build products that truly make a positive difference for candidates, employees and organizations.

Job Description
As a Frontend Developer at Assessio you’ll be part of a growing team building out the frontend applications for our products and platforms. Your main responsibilities will be centered around implementing user-interface React components and applications comprising our next generation platform.
Together with the rest of the engineering and platform teams, you will have the opportunity to work with modern technologies to develop best-in-class cloud-native applications and will be given the opportunity to define and influence the technical and architectural decisions defining those systems.

Main Responsibilities
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js and GraphQL
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code following the teams SDLC
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use, including the use of technologies and tooling such as Styled Components and Storybook
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Ensuring that our applications are responsive, compatible and accessible across different browsers and devices
- Create technical documentation related to the frontend technologies used
- Work directly as part of cross-functional agile teams building our SaaS platforms

To get the right conditions to succeed in this role, we believe you have:
- B.Sc degree or higher in the relevant engineering field
- Proficiency and commercial experience working with Javascript, Typescript and related frontend web technologies.
- Good understanding of React.js and its core principles, together with GraphQL and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Since our work language is English you find it easy to communicate in English. Both spoken and in writing.

- You’re comfortable working with agile teams and processes
- Familiarity working with cloud-native technologies
- You enjoy handling tasks that involve problem-solving.
