Who are we?

WorkTiles is a collaboration tool designed to help companies organize, perform, and improve their monthly closing and consolidation process.

We’re building a world-class SaaS tool for professionals working within finance and accounting. As a founding engineer, you’ll be working closely with our small team with the opportunity to have a big impact on culture and our engineering activities.

Profile

• Participate in all aspects of software development activities, including design, user interviews, coding, code review, unit/integration testing, bug fixing, and code/API documentation
• Work across the entire technical stack to ensure users have the most efficient and delightful experience using WorkTiles. The features you develop will span all aspects of the user experience
• Fast prototyping of ideas and concepts and researching the latest industry trends
• Passion for continuous improvement, technical and operational excellence
• You take ownership and solve problems when you see them
• High empathy, readiness to coach, pair with and learn from others
• Fluent in English

Tech

• Svelte frontend written in TypeScript
• Tailwind for styling
• Clerk for user management
• Node with a TypeScript NestJs API
• Fully managed Postgres as database
• Hosted on Google Cloud
• Github, Linear, Slack, Notion

Experience with listed technologies is great but not required.

WorkTiles is working fully remotely, but we expect our team to meet up in person at least a couple of times per year to work on challenges and get to know each other better! At this time, we’d primarily hire in Sweden.
