We are looking for an Engineering Manager for Gaming. You will be leading a Backend-team of Engineers and QA:s of 5-10 people that works in the Gaming Domain of the Platform organization. you will be responsible for the team’s deliveries and making sure that we reach our company goals and targets defined by OKRs.

The team is responsible for development and maintenance of the Gaming domain in our Player Account Management-system. Some key areas of the team responsibilities are integrations with game providers, product development and regulatory compliance.

We are operating in a fast-paced industry. The landscape could change quickly, so the ability to adapt to unexpected scenarios, balancing on parameters like risk management, prioritization and speed to market is vital.

Together with the Product Manager, Domain Architect and your team, you will take part in the journey of taking the Platform to the next level. Do you have experience in this?

  • Solid engineering background, spending at least 5+ years working as an engineer.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills with at least 3+ years of managing a team.
  • Experience from the gaming industry is a plus.
  • Experience in leading and developing people and teams through goals, inspiration, transparency and trust.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and mentoring agile software development teams.
  • Ability to lead and inspire others in a high pace, high velocity and changing environment.
  • Solid understanding of scalable, highly concurrent and fault tolerant systems.
  • A passionate leader with experience of running workshops, facilitating retrospectives and experience from supporting tools such as JIRA.

Working hours

LeoVegas has a hybrid working environment with 3 days working from home per week and 2 day working from the office as we want to give our employees flexibility to structure their work week while at the same time being able to provide information, team practices and social activities.
