Your Responsibilities

As Category Manager you will have ownership for the development of the category and also be our specialist of the dedicated portfolio for the group. You will be responsible for assortment within Tooling, Copper and HVAC accessories. This means that you will:

• Manage global agreements and negotiate with partnership and key suppliers.
• Analyze the internal/external market context to define the suppliers strategy of the portfolio.
• Manage growth, develop sales and create strategies for relevant suppliers.
• Manage process improvements for relevant suppliers according to group strategy.
• Work with global initiatives on group level.
• Follow up and detect market trends.

The Bigger Picture

You will be a part of our global team on remote basis, which means that you can work remotely anywhere in Europe. Our headquarter is placed in Malmö and you have colleagues all over Europe. The role includes a wide range of interfaces and stakeholders both within and outside the company. Main interfaces from Suppliers and Partners are Key Account Managers and Executive Management. Internal interfaces are both head quarter and local companies.

This position is global and requires international travels to the whole world. Expected time of travels will be 35% of the working time.

Our Expectations

To succeed in this role we think you have:

• Relevant working experience in the role as Category Manager, Product Manager, Key Account Manager, Purshase Manager or similiar.
• Category and supplier management skills and good financial understanding.
• Technical understanding of the HVAC-R business.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

As a person, you have strong cooperation skills both within the own team and with stakeholders. You will collaborate with both internal and external parts in varying positions and countries, which means that you need to be a strong communicator and an active listener. The role demands strong negotiation and influencing skills as well as a strong focus for achieving business results.
