Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cable harnesses and wiring systems based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Create accurate and detailed 2D schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure optimal design solutions.
  • Conduct testing and verification of cable harness designs for functionality and compliance.
  • Perform revisions and updates to cable harness designs as necessary.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices related to cable harness design.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and installation teams.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cable Harness Designer with expertise in 2D schematic design.
  • Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Zuken E3.series, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and wiring principles, as well as industry standards and regulations.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and create accurate and detailed wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work remotely and occasionally travel to on-site locations.
