The position

Driving the business for our biggestAutomotive Truck OEM client means developing and executing strategic sales plans, driving revenue growth, and building a long-term partnership with them. You will take ownership of each project, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding sales targets. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and optimizing internal resources to deliver value to our customer.

The Account Manager position will for example include:

  • Account related project planning and budgeting responsibility.
  • Direct supervision of 3-5 people: Customer Service Specialist(s), Customer Project Management and Application Engineering resources.
  • Preparing and defining the customer strategy and preparing of sales plans and budgets accordingly.
  • Taking commercial ownership for each project at the client.
  • Full responsibility for all activities and P&L results.
  • Analysing profitability and other commercial issues in order to implement appropriate sales actions.
  • Negotiations, follows up and managing customer agreements.

In this position you will work from you home office, but the job will include travels to visit the client and partners at PKC.

Your profile

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience of complex sales and sales management, particularly within the automotive sector. Experience in the wiring systems business is advantageous as is a university degree within technology or business administration. Fluent language skills in Swedish and English are essential as well as a strong IT and system user knowledge.

Our ideal candidate possesses the ability to recognize future trends and effectively manage a culturally diverse team. Strong communication skills are critical, along with a deep understanding of sales procedures. Problem-solving skills, particularly in an analytical context, are crucial, as is the ability to take initiative and work effectively within a team. The role also requires strong leadership capabilities, excellent cooperation and negotiation skills. Last but not least a strong customer orientation and the capability to create trust between company and customer will contribute to success.
