We are looking for a Configuration Manager to support and enhance Configuration Management practices in a large-scale engineering environment.

In this role, you will work on improving software traceability, version control, branching strategies, and change management processes. You will evaluate existing workflows, identify gaps, and drive improvements that ensure scalable, efficient, and high-quality configuration management practices.

You will also contribute to automation initiatives, including CI/CD integration and potential AI-driven solutions, while working closely with engineering teams to ensure adoption of best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Strengthen Configuration Management processes and workflows

Ensure end-to-end software traceability

Manage version control systems (Git, preferably Gerrit)

Define and improve branching and release strategies

Support change management and configuration control processes

Drive automation and CI/CD integration

Translate business needs into structured technical solutions

Support documentation, compliance, and requirement management

Requirements:

Experience in Configuration Management

Strong understanding of version control and branching strategies

Experience with software traceability in complex environments

Knowledge of change management processes

Experience working with automation and CI/CD pipelines

Ability to work with requirement management and documentation

Strong analytical and quality-focused mindset

Nice to Have:

Experience in complex engineering/product development environments

Knowledge of tools such as KDP, CarWeaver, ConfigHub, Teamcenter, Artifactory

Understanding of product structures and configuration management

Experience with change order managemen
